The tunable diaphragm of the 3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope gives the user the option of listening to low and high-frequency sounds simply by adjusting the amount of pressure applied at the site of auscultation. Instead of lifting the chestpiece from the patient to index the stem and reposition, the Lightweight II allows you to use light contact with the chestpiece to hear low-frequency sounds (bell mode) and firm pressure to hear the high-frequency sounds (diaphragm mode). The oval shaped chestpiece is designed for better fit with blood-pressure cuffs and body contours to provide clear, reliable acoustic performance. The tight soft-sealing eartips provide an excellent acoustic seal and comfortable fit. Two year warranty.
