This high performance warming system is capable of delivering fluids or blood at a continuous 40 degrees celsius from keep-vein-open (KVO) to 200 mL/minute. The warmer unit is extremely compact and fits in the palm of your hand. Unlike competitor warmers that heat fluids from the IV pole, the enFlow Fluid Warmer is placed close to the patient which helps prevent loss of heat while the IV fluid travels to the IV site. Enflow recommends that the fluid warmer be placed 9 inches from the IV site. The EnFlow Power Unit (sold separately from the warmer) mounts on the IV pole and displays the heated fluid temperature. The fluid warmer is reusable with the purchase of disposable cartridges that contain the heating element that is inserted into the warmer with each use.
