She has professionally guided rivers throughout the Western United States for the past 6 years, traveling over 3500 river miles. Amber has been involved in wilderness rescue and medicine since 2002, working as a backcountry guide, remote medical provider, instructor, and ski patroller. Amber is also a Swift Water Rescue Technician and has been extensively involved in swift water rescue since 2003. She earned a degree in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics from UC Davis. |
