| Dan brings to Remote Medical his commitment to the service of others and a diverse background in field operations with difficult operating conditions and considerations. After graduating Harvard, Dan served in the military Special Operations community before working as a contingency planner for the Department of Homeland Security. Later, as a risk management consultant for a firm in Washington, DC, he recognized a strong desire to follow a path into medicine and public health. As an RMI instructor, he enjoys helping students learn to adapt to and overcome the medical care challenges faced in remote settings and continues to develop his evolving interest in tactical, wilderness, and disaster medicine. In addition to playing outdoors, Dan balances work with drawing, reading, and volunteering. |
