| Loreen works for Remote Medical International as an instructor and as a remote site paramedic. She found her passion for remote medicine over 10 years ago after joining ski patrol at a small Colorado ski resort. Shortly after, her science career with NOAA took her to Antarctica where she assisted with the emergency surgery and rehabilitation of an injured friend. Inspired for change, she returned to the States and pursued a new career in the medical field. As a medic, she continues with ski patrol and works in the ED at The Children's Hospital. Loreen enjoys snowboarding, telemark skiing, trail running and mountain biking. |
