| Melina is a Registered Nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department (OHSU) in Portland,OR and an passionate instructor as well as remote medical provider. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing. Melina is also a member of the National Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) and the Remote Medical International Medical Support Team. Most recently she responded to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita setting up and running field hospitals in New Orleans and Lake Charles. In Melina’s spare time she practices Ashtanga yoga, surfing in warm water, distance running, snowboarding, and traveling. |
