| When not climbing the world's highest peaks, Mike can be found on our technical rescue coures as well as teaching wilderness medicine. As mountain guide for over a decade, he has led or participated on climbs on Aconcagua, Cotopaxi, Dhulagiri, Chimborazo, Illiniza, Huayna Potosi, Illimani, Huascaran, Orizaba, Ixta, Denali, Hunter, Kilimanjaro, Mount Elbrus and the Italian Dolomites. In 2003, he climbed Denali's Cassin Ridge alpine style in 45 hours. He currently works for Mountain Link and in the summers, he leads youth in the Cascades with Northwest Mountain School. Mike lives in Bend, OR where he enjoys trail running and backcountry skiing. |
