Steve Castello has been a Seattle Fire Fighter since 1980 and a Medic One Paramedic since 1991. His experience in remote medical care includes remote site clinics in Africa, Russia, Philippines, Europe, Central America and the Middle East as well as disaster medicine and emergency response.
He has also worked with the Seattle Police Department SWAT Unit as a Tactical Medic. He's received training and was a squad leader in the Metropolitan Medical Strike Team (MMST), a Federal Chemical Biological Response Unit. Additionally, He has been active over the years in the Seattle King County Disaster Team, and the Washington One Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT).
Steve lives in Seattle with his wife and two sons, Quinn and Spencer. They enjoy traveling as a family when they can find time between work, school, sports and the building of their new home. |
