Product information for ISO Chamber Replacement Chamber (Does Not Come With Filter System)
The ISO Chamber is a negative pressure isolation and transport chamber. It provides a solution to the problem of safely isolating and transporting patients with infectious diseases or victims of biological incidents to a more advanced treatment center. The ISO Chamber significantly minimizes cross-contamination and protects health care providers. Patients can be quickly placed into the chamber and moved without fear of contaminating transport vehicles or secondary treatment areas.
Features:
Battery operated blower unit provides filtered suction (negative pressure) for approximately 5 hours under normal conditions.
Air is drawn into the chamber through three HEPA filters and out of the chamber through three NBC (C2A1) filters at a rate of 6 CFM thus reducing heat from carbon dioxide build-up.
Eight 4" diameter, resealable access ports to allow the pass-through of medicine, food and equipment. One port is fitted with standard oxygen supply fitting and all ports can be fitted with latex, butyl or neoprene gloves.
Chamber is constructed of heavy, clear vinyl material for optimum visibility supported by seven flexible plastic arches to prevent canopy contact with patient.
Zipper allows chamber to be fully opened from head to foot.
Built-in flexible stretcher with four handgrips on each side enables the patient to be lifted while in chamber or can be used to secure chamber to stretcher or bed.
Chamber can be easily cleaned and decontaminated for reuse.
Pump is protected from contamination by the C2A1 inline filters. Used filters must be disposed of as contaminated material in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
Unit comes complete with clear vinyl chamber, vacuum pump, battery pack, battery charger, three HEPA canister filters, three C2A1 NBC canister filters and carrying case.
