The Olaes Modular Bandage eliminates the need to carry multiple types of bandaging materials. The bandage includes 3 meters of zig-zag packed 4 ply gauze, a removable occlusive plastic sheet behind the dressing pad, and a pressure bar that can also act as an eye cup. This means that you no longer need to carry and open an additional gauze roll. The clear pressure cup allows first responders to apply focused pressure rather than the less effective circumferential pressure of a tourniquet. This frees up the hands of the provider as it reduces the amount of manual pressure that needs to be applied. The pressure cup can be removed for use as an eye cup should an ocular injury occur. No other bandage offers so much versatility in such a small package.
