The Thermal Angel Blood and IV Fluid Infusion Warmer warms fluids to 38 degrees C (100.4 degrees F) at a flow rate of 2-150 ml/min given a fluid input temperature of 20 degrees C (68 degrees F). This warmer can be set up within 30 seconds and warms fluids in approximately 45 seconds. The Thermal Angel modifies the output of the heater 5,000 times a second to maintain a temperature of 38 degrees C. This fast, direct temperature adjustment allows for quick and automatic reactions to changes in clinical conditions such as stopped flow, flow rate change, bolus delivery, or change-out of an IV or blood bag. Unlike other fluid warmers that require proprietary tubing or equipment, the Thermal Angel is designed to be compatible with any standard IV or blood administration/extension set. It uses standard luer fittings and requires no additional cartridges. The Thermal Angel is a disposable, single-patient-use device with no cartridges or parts that require cleaning. This device does not come with tubing.
