How the Twinject Works: During an emergency, the Twinject® can be easily removed from it's crush-resistant case. Instructions are printed on a waterproof sheet that is secured to the auto-injector. To prepare the device, the user simply removes a color coded cap at each end of the auto-injector. The first dose is administerd by pressing the device against the thigh of the patient. If a second dose of epinepherine is required, the top can be easily removed from the Twinject® auto-injector revealing a pre-loaded syringe.
