Wilderness Medicine Training
The Wilderness First Aid Course is 16 - 20 hours and provides a solid foundation for non-medical workers, outdoor enthusiasts, land managers and wild land firefighters.
The Wilderness First Responder Course is an 80 hour course, and considered the standard for outdoor professionals including outdoor educators, mountain guides, scientists, and anyone else who works or plays far away from the hospital.
The Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician or WEMT course is over 200 hours, and includes a variety of certifications as well as clinical rotations in the Emergency Department and ambulance.
