Course Information for the Wilderness First Aid (with CPR)
NOTE: This course will go from 1-5pm on June 9th and 8am-5pm on June 10th and 11th.
Wilderness First Aid is a 16 hour course designed to provide elementary skills in remote medical care. Based on recommendations from the Wilderness Medical Society and evidence-based research, our curriculum focuses on making sound decisions regarding patient evacuation, as well as skills for extended care. This course is a hands-on, experiential format providing students with the skills and confidence for making remote medical care decisions. Wilderness First Aid is ideal for outdoor recreation enthusiasts, camp staff, remote site workers, and travelers who either work or play away from definitive medical facilities and support.
Course includes American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR.
