The RMUR™ course offers you a 24-hour EMT-Basic Refresher, American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification, 48 hours of CECBEMS approved continuing education at the basic level, as well as certifications in PHTLS, Wilderness EMT and Medical Person in Charge from the US Coast Guard.
The Remote Medicine Upgrade & Recertification a.k.a the RMUR™ Course meets all the requirements for EMT-B recertification with the National Registry while transitioning or upgrading current EMT-Basics to Wilderness EMT & Medical Person In Charge certification.
While transitioning to WEMT, the course focuses on the decision-making skills and advanced techniques necessary to administer care in remote and austere environments. *This continuing education activity is approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).
