With renewable energies forecast to meet more than 70% of the world’s global electricity generation growth by 2023 according to the International Energy Agency, more and more workers are being sent to remote and challenging worksites to build the critical infrastructure needed to sustain our planet’s high demand for sustainable energy sources.

Renewable Energy Project Successes
Multinational Renewable Energy Company
We provided emergency medical services to support our client’s renewable energy program at its solar farm in Arizona, United States, and wind farms in North Dakota and Kansas, United States. Our services included 24/7 medical coverage by qualified providers working out of Remote Medical International Mobile Treatment Centers (MTCs). The 4×4 MTCs were stationed at the project sites and stocked with the medical equipment and supplies to perform both routine and emergent medical care.
Bibby Wavemaster Offshore Wind Projects
We have provided medical support services to both Bibby Wavemaster vessels in support of multiple offshore wind projects over several years, most recently on Hohe See Wind Farm off Germany and Galloper Wind Farm in the Southern North Sea. Our onboard medics keep day-to-day treatments on the vessel with the help of 24/7 topside assistance, limiting referrals to onshore doctors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided screening, testing, and consulting services to give all personnel confidence in their safety and wellbeing.

“Remote Medical International has worked on both Bibby Wavemaster vessels providing medics in support of various offshore wind projects over recent years, most recently on Hohe See Wind Farm off Germany and Galloper Wind Farm in the Southern North Sea. During the pandemic, Remote Medical was instrumental in keeping our offshore workers safe, both in providing screening, testing and consultation advice from their medical director to the senior management.”
