Seattle, WA, October 8, 2019 — Remote Medical International has hired Scott Platz as Vice President of Operations. Platz joins Remote Medical International after six plus years at global seismic company Seabed GeoSolutions and will be based out of the company’s new Houston office.

Skilled at building and optimizing organizational processes, systems, and infrastructure to maximize business results, Platz will oversee delivery of Remote Medical International’s suite of health and safety services, including on-site medical and safety staffing, case management and evacuation coordination, medical equipment, and medical screenings.

“I’m excited about the growth potential at Remote Medical International, especially in the safety arena, where I’ve spent the majority of my career,” said Platz.

With over 20 years of experience in both domestic and international operations at start-up and growth-stage companies, Platz will help Remote Medical International continue to  expand its suite of health and safety solutions, with a focus on growing the newly launched safety staffing service and expanding the operational team in Houston.

“I’ve lived overseas for several years on various assignments and know the oil and gas industry quite well, I’m hoping to leverage that to help Remote Medical International see even more growth in those industries, especially as we establish our presence in Houston,” said Platz.

Remote Medical International COO Paul Budak is looking forward to Platz’s knowledge and expertise related to the company’s markets.

“He brings a fresh perspective which will help us create even more value and better solutions for our current and future clients,” said Budak.
