Remote Medical International CAPCE AccreditedAs an accredited institution, Remote Medical International is able to offer our students nationally-recognized continuing education credits through the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). Please see the courses listed below for more information on the continuing education credit hours offered.

These continuing education accreditation hours are available at no additional costs for Remote Medical International students. Please ensure CAPCE CEUs are accepted by your State EMS Organization. For more information about how to obtain CEU hours, please contact CAPCE at https://www.cecbems.org/ with the following information:

  • EMT certification number
  • Jurisdiction (i.e., county, state, or national)
  • Expiration date

CAPCE was established to develop and implement policies to standardize EMS continuing education activities. The co-sponsoring organizations of CAPCE are the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the National Association of Emergency Medical Services Physicians, the National Association of State Emergency Medical Services Directors, the National Council of State Emergency Medical Services Training Coordinators, the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and the National Association of EMS Educators.
